Appointments

My new companion name is Elder Price. He is from Montana and has been out for a year.  He is a good missionary.  Since Elder Price has been here, we have done a lot of finding. The other day we did the most knocking I have ever done, it was about 4 hours strait. It was a hot and humid day so we were very sweaty and tired.  We have 5 appointments this week so we finally have people to teach. I pray that they won't cancel on us. I think the hardest part of the day is planning. Because my companion doesn't know the area.  I have to plan the whole day, and its hard cause I don't know the area that well myself. My two companions are very different so its hard to get used to Elder Price. It was cool this week we saw a guy who played for the USA men's beach volleyball team, I think his last name was Gibb or something, and then later that day we were able to hold the Olympic torch. My companion has a picture and said he would email it too me, so I'll send it to you when i get it. Thanks for all the letters everyone has been sending me. I received the package you sent with the Turvery's, I'm excited to make those cookies. I think the thing that has helped me the most on my mission is the Book of Mormon and prayer. There is no way I would still be out here without those 2 things. Praying for specific things is the key, and has strengthened my testimony so much. Next week I'm excited to tell you about how some of our appointments went!  We could finally have some investigators!! That would be really exciting.
