Week of finding!

It has been another week of a lot of finding. We have finally met 2 people that actually know where Elder Tauman comes from. We also lost the flat we thought we had, and the new missionaries are coming in less then 2 weeks, so we have been in search for a new one.  We had a miracle after church this week, we were doing some contacting, and a guy came up to us and said he lost his faith and wants to get it back. He said he has seen us walking around and has been wanting to talk to us, but hasn't had the chance. We have an appointment with him this week. He lives close to the church and his only day off is Sunday, so he really wants to come! I was so grateful to Heavenly Father for that, we had talked to so many people this week, and we finally found the one we needed too.  Also another funny story, we were on our way home one night and saw this older lady struggling with her bags. So we offered to help. She let us. As we were walking she realized I was American, after that, she said she was going to find me a wife! (ha ha) so as we walked every girl we passed no matter what age or if they were holding a boys hand, she would say, I've got an American with me, would you like a yank!  It was so funny. The weather is cooling down and I was told at church that I had lost my tan): Oh well! Thanks for everything, I hope everyone has a brilliant week! Cheers!

Good and Bad!

This week has been a tough week!  But thats okay(: This week has felt more like England, a little cold and a lot of rain. My companion has been so excited for the cold weather because he has never been in it, but after this week, he hates it.  Last night we were laying in bed and he turns and says to me... "I hate the cold" he is so funny, I wish you could all meet him, he keeps me laughing all day long. A lot of our appointments got cancelled this week. We spent a lot of time walking and knocking. Lately we have been gettting a lot of free food because we meet everyone that works in the restaurants. We get free pizza, indian food and bakery stuff, its great. The Lord gives us good and bad days. I have learned a lot this week, just like a muscle, you have to work it untill it hurts for it to build. That is how we are, sometimes we hurt, but we can know, if we are doing what the Lord asks, we are only getting stronger. I love England, I love the poeple here, and I love this work. Thanks for all your support and love!
Have a great week, Cheers!!!

Are you guys Mormons?

It has been a brilliant week! We have a new baptismal date with a guy from Latvia! He is super cool, his name is Guntars! We also had another miracle. Yesterday we were hoping this lady would come to church, we were going to meet her at the train station and walk with her, but she didn't show. As we were walking to the chapel, another lady stopped us and started asking a bunch of questions. She was on her way to her own church but after about 10 min of talking to her, she decided to come to ours! When we got the the gate of the church, she stopped and said "wait... are you guys the Mormons??" she looked like she was going to kill the both of us, ha ha but she came!  She is a very serious lady, I don't think she smiled once, but she has a lot of questions and wants to meet with us again!  My companion and I are having a really good time together!  We are going to play footy for P-Day today, and I'm super excited about that. Love this work, I'm happy as ever!! Thanks again for all your prayers and support!! have a brilliant week! Cheerio!

Moving Forward!

When I heard USU lost to Utah by 4 points I almost put my fist through the computer screen.. but now that I know the season has started I'll make sure to be praying for my RIGHTOUS cougs and my Aggies (I know the Ute fans are gonna love that). This week has been great! Amelia was baptised! It was so great! She asked me to baptise her which i wasn't expecting, but I was really grateful for the chance I had to do that. We also had another investigator there named Salvatore who we are teaching English and we told him he was next and his concern was that we wouldn't be able to lift him out of the water.. ha ha he obviously hasn't seen Elder Tauman and I working out in the morning... The work is fun, I love it, and its moving forward each day. We have graphs to see how the mission is doing and since Pres. Monson made the announcement, our numbers of everything have more then doubled.. it is so cool! I love this work, and I love the people here in England! Thanks again for everything. I hope everyone has a brilliant week!! Cheers!!
