New Home BATH

I made it to my new home, I got there on Thursday at about 5 pm. I was able to go thought the London temple on Thursday morning and it was beautiful and a great experience! It was weird because half way through the session the fire alarm went off and we had to hurry outside so yeah.. it was very different. I'm in a place called Bath! its so awesome! I'm in an area called Bristol but my flat is in Bath, you need to look it up on Google or some thing because it is a wonderful place, a ton or tourist. My companion is from Whales and is a great man, I have already learned a lot. On Thursday night I was out talking to people on the street and we had a dinner apt. last night and the food wasn't very good but I ate it. My companion said the ward here is so supportive and the church is in an old Methodist chapel. My flat is pretty small and its very new so we don't have any drawers or anything to hang up our shirts. In Bath I guess they don't believe in showers so I have to take a bath every morning which kinda takes a while! It has been hard being out of the MTC away from all the friends that I made there, I have been praying a ton!! After we are done emailing we will go teach my first lesson and do more contacting, and knocking on doors. I have already done a lot of bus and train contacting, and I think its very hard but hopefully it will start getting easier soon! if you have sent any mail to the mission home or the MTC i won't get it for a couple weeks I don't think. President Shamo seemed like a great guy and I think he actually got back to salt lake today! Presient Melar, I think that is how you spell it, is here now but I won't see him for a while cause I'm about a 2 hour drive and 4 hour train and bus ride away.

Listen to the Spirit

I just got back from Manchester and I had two awesome experiences. The first one is me and my companion went to a couple and they had a baby we started talking and I told them how the church and the Book of Mormon have blessed my family.  I asked them if they would like a Book of Mormon and they said they weren’t interested I said okay.  As I was about to walk away I looked at the baby, and it was looking at me and had the biggest smile I have ever seen on a baby.  The parents saw this and said they would actually love to take the Book of Mormon.  The next experience was just a few minutes after there was a old lady sitting on a bench so we went over and started talking to her.  We told her a little about what we believe then asked if she would like a Book of Mormon, she said she had no interest, then I felt an urge to bear my testimony of the Book of Mormon, so I did.  I told her the blessing I have received from reading it, after I was finished, she said that she wanted that book, that she needed blessings, so we gave her one.  Last night I was reading my patriartical blessing and it tells me that when I talk about the Book of Mormon, people will know what I say is true.  So today I told a lot of people about the Book of Mormon and I handed out about six.

"Always listen to the spirit, the Lord always provides                     the best way."
