The work is going well, we did see the two guys from Ghana, they still have some issues about what we believe but they love meeting with us. We are excited for this week because we have a lot of appointments with new people. We also have Ward FHE, my companion and I are doing the lesson. We have a couple investigators planning on coming. Its getting a little warmer here, which is good, but the sun doesn't seem to come out till 8:00pm, so we stare at the clear sky before we go to bed. I hope you all have a fantastic week! thanks for all your prayers and support! CTR! Cheers!!

P-Day!
This week has been brilliant! But I don't have a lot of time today, we have another great P-Day planned. I remember someone telling me that if you want to do something fun, but you think it is not allowed to ask the President. There is a theme park called Thorpe park, it is like a small 6 flags I guess. The RS president in our ward got us free tickets, and we had a interview with president a couple weeks ago, and I asked him if we could go and he said we could! We just have to wear our pros. clothes and hand out a Book of Mormon while in line for the rides! So that's what I'll be doing today! Some events from this week: 1. My companion and I fell asleep on a train last Monday, and ended up lost, we eventually found our way home! 2. We were contacting this week, and stopped and to talk some guys working a ice cream truck, we ended up getting their info. and a free ice cream!!!(: 3. The whole mission did a fast this Sunday that the hearts of England would be softened, it was brilliant. 4. I got the package Mum sent, I love it!!! Thanks Mum. 5. Stress of the week, one of the Sisters in the district got themselves locked in the bathroom for about an hour this week! Sisters... 6. Our Bishop and his wife our leaving for the next 3 weeks so they brought us everything from their fridge and freezer!!! We now have a ton of food!

Less Active!
Its great being a missionary at this time, everyone is talking about missionary work. It was so fun being in the middle of London. While walking to the conference I was talking to so many people trying to give out as many cards as I could! I remembered when we went to NYC and how cool that was, and being in London reminded me of that. I don't think I could be more blessed then to be in this mission at this time. The whole spirit of the mission has changed since we heard from Elder Ballard. I wrote down a lot of impressions I had while listening to Elder Ballard, and I look at them often. This week I learned something interesting about England, it rains when it is sunny out. The other day, we were walking to go visit a Less Active. The sun was shinning and there was only 3 small clouds in the sky, then all the sudden it just started raining, and after about 5 min. my companion and I were soaked!!
This week we prayed that a Less Active member would come to church on Sunday. We have about 80 Less Active members in our ward and we are trying to visit them throughout the week. This week we met a Less Active her named Sister Burgess. She is 86 years old and hasn't been to church for about 50 years. We have a member of our ward that visits her once a month and always invites her to come to church, but she never does. When we saw her, we shared a quick message and invited her to church, she accepted and the member was able to pick her up. She came to church and loved it! We are also teaching 2 guys from Ghana, they are both strong members of their church, but like learning about what we have to say. There are many experiences that I have had on my mission that strengthen my testimony of prayer. I know that if you pray for something specific and pray with sincerity, faith and real intent, the Lord will always answer your prayers. I love the people in England. Its great to be working here and seeing how the Lord always has his hand in the work.

Miracles happen!
We got to go to a conference at Hyde Park Chapel, which is in London and outside our mission! We were able to hear from Elder M. Russel Ballard of the 12. Wow.. It was so cool!!!! He talked all about Preach My Gospel. As he spoke about the simple truths you can find in ch. 3 of Preach My Gospel, the spirit was so strong. I can't even begin to describe what it was like to be so close to an Apostle.
So this week has been brilliant, I hit my year mark, and heard from an Apostle!! It was a perfect treat for my year mark. Also on the day I hit my year mark, our RS president invited us over for dinner she had the fire going and said I better bring my oldest run down shirt so we could burn it for my year mark. It was wicked! Another cool thing happened this week, we were planning on having 4 investigators at church on Sunday, but on Friday almost all of them cancelled. It was sad, we kept praying that someone would be able to make it to church. A miracle happened. A guy we met emailing at the library a couple weeks ago showed up at church. He loved it! During Sunday school, my companion and I were able to teach the Restoration. The spirit was so strong, he agreed with everything. The only problem is, is that he doesn't live in our area, he only visits, and doesn't have a phone at the moment. He said he would see us throughout the week, so I know the Lord will bump us into him. The Lord works is mysterious ways, and sometimes it requires a lot of patience. I got a couple letters this week. I loved Dads, I read it on the way to the Conference yesterday. I love you all! I have to go so we can find more people ready to hear the Gospel!! Have a brilliant week!

Year Mark!
This week I will hit my year mark.. doesn't even seem real. What happened to last year? I keep hearing from home that everyone is leaving on a mission, who is going to be home when I get home? This week has been great! We had a dinner with one of our members and she had her Muslim friends come over. We had a good chat with them. Friday we went to a prayer meeting at the Mosque with them! It was very different, but cool. We had some really cool conversations after the meeting. On Saturday, we took one of our investigators to a sports activity the stake did. We played some volleyball and some footy, good stuff! If was pretty funny, during one of the volleyball games I ran for a ball and saved it, but flew into the wall, it made a really loud noise and everyone went silent because they all thought the missionary was hurt.. ha ha. I have a really big bump on my head and a bruised shoulder. It was all worth it because we got that point! The last 3 days it has been super nice, sunny and warm. We are working really hard. My comp. and I work well together and are enjoying the work. He has had to tell me to relax a couple times because some people have a weird logic about God and it makes me a little frustrated.. but I love all the people we meet(: Thanks for all you do, sounds like everyone is doing well back home. Have a brilliant week everyone! Cheers!!
