Chinese Culture Night!

It has been a pretty epic week. Been very busy being on exchanges a few times this week, we also had a zone conference which was great. The highlight of the week was a Chinese night that one of the Chinese missionaries in our zone put together. We have 2 Chinese investigators we are working with, one is named Wentworth, he is super golden, he has been to church twice, is getting baptised on the 8 March and wants to go on a mission because of how the Gospel makes him feel. The other one is a girl named Shan, she is also really cool, but has a few more concerns. We took them to the Chinese Culture night, and it was so fun!  We had something called HotPot, it was pretty good. Funny fact for the week, Elder Heg. and I went vegetarian for a week because one of our members and investigators committed us to do it..... not very fun, I felt hungry all week, good thing it's over with, I don't think I'll every do it again! It is starting to warm up a little as well, a couple days we enjoyed the sun, it was nice!! Thanks for all your prayers and support. Love you all! have a brilliant week!! Cheers!

Pouring rain!

This week has been really good!  There was a lot of rain this week, many areas are flooded which makes our traveling time a lot longer.   There are many highlights this week, the coolest one was we were on our way home walking in the rain and a Chinese student walked out of his house.  We started talking with him, he was super cool, and he loves the Jazz and John Stockton and Carl Malone.  We taught him the restoration a couple of days latter and he came to church and loved it.  He will have a baptismal date this week.  Another experience, we had was with another Chinese student, she is learning about Christianity and wanted to learn more, she is coming to church next week and also should have a baptism date.  Another fun night was on Valentines.  For some reason we planned to be in the University area that night knocking and contacting.  It was pouring rain but we had a lot of fun, both of our umbrellas broke, and we got soaked.  Good week, love my companion, my area and the people we are working with, all is well.  Thanks for all your support and prayers.  Cheers!!!

Looking for truth!

You alright??
It has been super busy week! It was moves this week which meant a lot of travel and meetings, so that is always fun. Our Zone has changed a lot, about 1/2 of the zone moved, so it will be good to get some new blood. Cool story of the week: I got a call from the assistants informing me of a miracle. When I was serving in one of my past areas, Addlestone, Elder Oleson and I handed out a card to a lady at the train station with our phone number on it, she said she would call. We never heard from her, Elder Oleson and I both left the area. A few weeks ago, Elder Tauman(my boy) and his companion got a call from a lady asking for the missionaries. She is now being taught and is going to be baptised in 2 weeks! Pretty epic! There are so many people in the world that are looking for truth. We always need to remember that when we are doing the Lords work, we are working on His time, not ours. I love serving in England, no matter how cold or rainy it may get, the people here are wonderful and I wouldn't change these past 20 months for anything. I love you all thanks again for your support!! Have a brilliant week!! Cheers!!

Birthday week!

This week has been a great one! We had a baptism for a kid named Chris, who is a 18 year old son of a convert that was baptised a couple months ago. It was really cool. This week we also found a couple other really neat people and had 4 people at church, it was brilliant. I was spoiled on my B-Day. We had a teach at a members home, then we had dinner with the member, then after dinner we had another teach. I Also got to have my favorite cake/pie... it's called banoffee pie, it was soo good! This upcoming week is moves, so it will be a busy week, a lot of travel, planning and preparing things. I will be staying in my area with Elder Hegerhorst, I am excited about that, we are having fun, working hard and seeing many miracles. Thanks for everyone support and prayers. Stay faithful! Love you all!
